Be Part Of The Next Generation Of Outstanding Entrepreneurs

Our friends at the New Entrepreneurs Foundation (NEF) are on the hunt for Awesome. They’re looking for bright, entrepreneurial young people with the desire to play a key role in driving Britain’s future growth and prosperity.

NEF is a not-for-profit, dedicated to equipping young, aspiring entrepreneurs with the hands-on experience, skills and networks to build scalable businesses. Each year, they select up to 30 of the UK’s brightest, most entrepreneurially-minded people to join their year-long programme. The programme is open to final year students, recent graduates and non-graduates, and consists of four main components:

1. A paid work placement in an exciting, innovative, high-growth company, working alongside a successful entrepreneur and their senior management team, experiencing at close hand how to run a successful company.

2. An intensive, immersive and interactive 10-month development programme with workshops from corporate sponsors such as Deloitte, McKinsey and Tesco; business schools such as London Business School, UCL and the Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning at Cambridge Judge Business School; and other specialist learning providers.

3. Monthly speaker and networking events featuring established leaders and inspirational entrepreneurs such as Brent Hoberman, Sir Charles Dunstone, Sherry Coutu, Joe Cohen and Lord Young of Graffham to name a few…

4. An Executive Coach for each New Entrepreneur.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to learn from some of the best entrepreneurs in the country, get extremely valuable experience of what it’s like turning an idea into practice (and then into money) and developing a strong network of the UK’s brightest and best.

If you’re thinking OH MY GOD THIS IS AMAZING, then simply pop over to NEF’s website to apply.

If you’re still not quite persuaded, or just want to find out more, NEF are hosting a series of events over the next few weeks, where budding entrepreneurs in Oxford, London, Warwick and Cambridge will have the chance to hear from ten leading entrepreneurs including Brett Akker (Founder of Streetcar), Ed Wray (Founder of Betfair) and Miranda Ballard (Founder of Muddy Boots).
