Enternships Founder & CEO Rajeeb Dey Awarded MBE

We are delighted to announce that our Founder and CEO, Rajeeb Dey, has been awarded an MBE in the Queen’s 90th Birthday Honours for services to Entrepreneurship.

The Birthday Honours recognise the achievements of a wide range of extraordinary people across the UK. At just 30 years old, Rajeeb is among the youngest honourees in this year’s list, a fitting reminder that age is never a barrier to achieving great things.

Rajeeb has worked tirelessly for over a decade to inspire young people to pursue entrepreneurial career paths (after starting his own entrepreneurial journey aged 17). Since launching Enternships, Rajeeb has helped over 6,500 companies connect to entrepreneurial talent, inspiring thousands of young people in the process to either work in startups or launch their own businesses.

We caught up with Rajeeb to ask him how he felt after hearing the news, and he said: “It has been an exciting journey. After starting Enternships whilst still a University student at Oxford, to now having helped over 6,500 companies find entrepreneurial talent, I am really proud of the achievements of my colleagues and our contribution in helping expose young people to more entrepreneurial career paths. I am immensely grateful to everyone who has supported me on my journey – friends, colleagues and particularly my family for putting up with me! The MBE has come as a great surprise and will spur me on to continue my mission to find big social issues which need solving in entrepreneurial ways.”

It’s been a real pleasure for us to be a part of that journey at Enternships HQ and we’re equally excited about our next chapter. If you’d like a sneak peak about what the future holds in store, check out Learnerbly, our exciting new professional learning and development platform!

Congratulations, Rajeeb – we’re super proud of you!
